1992 年神奈川県生まれ。武蔵野美術大学油絵学科卒業。主体性や責任の移動に関心をもち、参加型のパフォーマンス作品を制作している。近年では、武蔵野美術大学gFAL（2023年）や金沢芸術村PIT5（2021年）での個展開催や、「国際芸術祭あいち2022 STILL ALIVE」への参加に加え、東京造形大学CSLAB管理人（2019〜2022 年）、PARADISE AIRコーディネーター（2023年〜）等も務める。female artists meeting 企画運営。
Ayaka Ura (she/her) was born in Kanagawa in 1992. She graduated from the Department of Oil Painting at Musashino Art University. With an interest in agency and the transfer of responsibility, she has created numerous participatory performance artworks. Ura’s recent solo exhibitions include Musashino Art University gFAL (2023) and Kanazawa Citizen’s Art Center PIT5, Ishikawa (2021). In 2022, she participated in “Aichi Triennale 2022 – STILL ALIVE”. She was the manager of Tokyo Zokei University’s Creative Spiral Laboratory (2019 -2022), and currently works as a coordinator at PARADISE AIR. She also co-organizes and operates “female artists meeting.”

街にいる野良犬を追いかけるうらによる視点と、その関係を後ろから俯瞰する視点の２つのモニターによるビデオインスタレーション。犬の向く先へうらはそれをフォローします。犬の連続した生が引き続いて、その生に引っ張られるようにしてうらが追いかけるといった生の継続した様相が映像を構成します。
壁にあるイラストは、この追いかける関係を「たましいの形」と「形容詞」を手がかりに読みかかれたドローイングから引用されたものです。映像に映る犬とうらの関係を「連帯する形容詞」というアイデアを用いて、共に動くことやその時間について考察しています。
A video installation with two monitors, one from Ura’s point of view as she chases a stray dog in the city, and the other from a bird’s eye view of the relationship from behind. Ura follows the dog to where it is headed. The video is composed of the continuous aspect of the dog’s life, which is followed by Ura, who is pulled along by the dog’s life, and chases after it.
The illustrations on the wall are taken from the drawings that were created by reading the “form of the soul” and “adjectives” as clues to this chasing relationship. Using the idea of “adjectives of solidarity” to describe the relationship between the dog and the others in the video, the work examines their movement together and the time they spend together.

ベトナム、ホイアンで行ったパフォーマンス作品。 ホイアンの街で、うらはアイスクリームカートの移動販売の労働をパフォーマンスとして行いました。
当時日本ではベトナム人技能実習生の失踪が相次いで、中間あっ旋業者の違法行為なども問題となっていました（先日の3/15には技能実習制度を廃し新たに育成就労制度を創設した入管難民法が閣議決定されました）。ベトナムでは労働に関する作品を作りたいと考えていたうらは、路上のお土産やさんとのささやかな金銭トラブルからうらはその関係性を捉えなおすために自らも労働者のパフォーマンスを行うことにしました。 アイスとお金のやり取りという経済活動をリレーションシップの契機として、街で起きている動きを感じ、時に教わりながら場所を探してカートを引きます。
本展ではパフォーマンスのドキュメント映像とポストカードの形で展示します。ポストカードは、ベトナムでの展覧会当時も映像の中に登場する労働者たちの元へ展覧会を拡張し持ち出すために配布されました。

Performance work done in Hoi An, Vietnam. On the streets of Hoi An, Ura performed labor on a mobile ice cream cart.
At the time, there was a series of disappearances of Vietnamese technical intern trainees in Japan, and illegal activities by intermediaries were also becoming an issue (on March 15, the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act was recently approved by the Cabinet, abolishing the technical intern training system and creating a new training and employment system). In Vietnam, Ura wanted to create a work related to labor, and after a small money dispute with a souvenir vendor on the street, Ura decided to perform as a worker himself to recapture that relationship. Using the economic activity of exchanging ice cream and money as an opportunity for relationship, Ulla pulls a cart to find a place, feeling the movement happening in the city and sometimes learning from it.
In this exhibition, the performance is presented in the form of a documentary video and postcards. The postcards were distributed at the time of the exhibition in Vietnam in order to extend the exhibition and bring it to the workers who appear in the video.
